Hello and thank you for your interest in the Himalayan and Persian cats and kittens of Le Chat Paws Cattery. We are proud to be the home of many Grand Champions and Champions. My love for cats started many years ago, and as probably every breeder I went from being the animal lover, to cat owner and finally in 1990 I registered my cattery with CFA and devoted myself to the wonderful hobby of breeding and showing pedigreed cats. Through the years many wonderful cats have passed through my home, and I remember each distinctively and fondly, and now as a breeder I am actively trying to improve the breed through careful selective breeding, using only the best blood lines in the country.
 
       Le Chat Paws Cattery is known for producing beautiful Himalayans with excellent health and disposition but perhaps most importantly, for producing beautiful quality Himalayans with deep "Violet-Blue Eyes", something that is a rarity on the breed . A good example of the violet blue-blue eyes can be found on GC Le Chat Paws Sundancer and Le Chat Paws Thalia.        My Himalayans come from the distinguished bloodlines of Karabel, Katsation, Sandypaws, Twinshire, Kisicat, Frenchcreek, DeMiara, Playwickey, Keemera, Lotsapurr, Jolee, Khazar, Sunval, Mountcascade, Cactusway, and Kountrylovin respectively. We breed all traditional color points: seal pt., cream pt., blue-cream pt., blue pt., flame pt., tortie pt. and also lynx , chocolates and lilacs points.
 
        Le Chat Paws credits the success of their Exotic program to their first Exotic cat, a loveable breeder quality odd-eyed white female with an extraordinary pedigree. Her name is Bonocchis Avalanche of Le Chat Paws, her first litter produced GC, BW Le Chat Paws Double D'Lite, who has achieved the prestigious CFA Award of "Best Tortoiseshell Exotic" for the 2001-2002 Show Season. Her pedigree comes from the following lines: Bonocchis, Becton, Kelsha, Shimea, Chinois, Marsamis, Prideomine, Spellbound, Kitty Charm, Sierra, Bar-B, Kirlu, Jovan, Mystichill, and Midas with 10 National Winners, 4 Regional Winners, 24 Grand Champions, 9 DM's & 15 Champions. This girl is our foundation and was our first step into the world of Exotic Persians.
 
       Our cats have made their homes all over the globe. Le Chat Paws cats can be found in Asia, Europe, North America and South America. Our pet quality kittens are sold with a strict neuter/spay agreement, and no papers are given until proof of neuter/spay is presented to us. Our breeder and show quality kittens are sold to carefully selected breeders who promise to show the cat/kitten to the best of its potential.
 
       Le Chat Paws cattery does not sell kittens/cats with "breeding rights" in their home state of Florida. All kittens sold in Florida must be neuter and spay. No exceptions!
 
       All Le Chat Paws cats are raised in a loving home, and the utmost care is given to each cat.
 
        It has been said that all great things in life one day have to come to an end and that holds true for my breeding program. Due to family illness and the long working hours demanded at my job I had to make the heart wrenching decision to stop breeding. In September of 2006 I neutered/spayed all of my cats and became just a pet owner. I want to take this opportunity to thank all of the breeders and pet owners that throughout the years have adopted my cats. It has been a memorable and fun experience.
